The Mississippi State women's golf team is in uncharted territory.
The No. 40 (GolfStat) Lady Bulldogs are making their first-ever appearance in the NCAA Championships starting today in Athens, Ga.
"(We are) very excited to be in this position," MSU coach Ginger Brown-Lemm said. "To finish the third year at the NCAA Championships is certainly a little ahead of my realistic schedule. (It is) certainly something we had in our sights."
