Steven and Elena Pan of Starkville are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Melody Siew-lee Pan, to Mr. Jack Foster Cook, son of Michael and Lee Cook.
The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Starkville High School and a 2007 graduate of Mississippi State University. She received her Masters degree in occupational therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2009. She is currently employed at Alabama Bone and Joint with Encore Rehabilitation.
The prospective groom is a 2003 graduate of Alabama Christian Academy and a 2007 graduate of the University of Montevallo. He is currently employed as a staff instructor at the Hank Johnson School of Golf and the Inverness Country Club.
For the wedding, Christina Lenarduzzi will serve as Maid of Honor and Rebecca Kerr Munshaw of Starkville will serve as Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids include Kelly Burgess of Birmingham, Ala., Lindsey Cook of Birmingham, Ala., Erin Wilkinson Ainsworth of Decatur, Ala., Jenny Cobb Sneed of Starkville, Sarah Collier Ward of Starkville, Erin D'Abramo of Starkville, Andrea Beaulieu Bowens of Starkville and Suzanne Stuart of Essex, Iowa. Sawyer Ward will serve as the flower girl.
Tae Phillips of Birmingham, Ala. will serve as the Best Man. Groomsmen included David Cook of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Michael Pan of Starkville, Harper Carson, Daniel Moore, Kyle Sadberry, Hamilton King, Kelly South, Darrell Ward and Tim Sherrer, all of Birmingham, Ala.
Steel Drum of Destin, Fla. will provide special music for the ceremony.
The couple will exchange vows April 6, 2013 at half past five o' clock in the evening at Cabana Blue in Santa Rosa Beach, Fla. with Rev. Pat Ward officiating.
A reception will follow.
