Joyce Joy

TULARE, Calif. — Mrs. Joyce Joy was born on Sept. 24, 1931 to James and Thursa Solomon of Oklahoma.

Memorials services will be held 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013 at Church of Christ in Tulare, Calif.
A private family burial will follow.
Miller's Tulare Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She worked as an accountant for several school districts over the years.
She was very active in her church, The Red Society, the Tulare Senior Center and the Tulare AmVets. She was a kind, generous woman with more energy than most her age. She adored her family and friends. Joyce will be greatly missed by all that knew her or ever met her.

She is survived by two sons, Dennis Joy of Starkville and Darrel Joy of Tulare, Calif.; two brothers, Chuck Solomon of Corono, Calif. and Don Solomon of Rochester, Minn.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert "Bob" Joy.
