Hancock back practicing with MSU baseball team

Staff Writer

Mississippi State freshman catcher Luke Hancock is back practicing with the Bulldogs following his domestic violence arrest and subsequent suspension from the team last month.

MSU began its annual Fall World Series on Thursday and Hancock is a part of the Team Maroon roster for the yearly three-game scrimmage series.

Hancock was arrested on September 2.

The day after Hancock’s arrest, he was suspended indefinitely by MSU before his return to action was confirmed this week.

Hancock played his prep career at Houston High School where he was an All-State performer. He signed on with Mississippi State last November after being verbally committed to the Bulldogs since 2014.
