Mrs. Annie B. Miller-Williams, 88, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 at OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012 at Second Baptist M.B. Church in Starkville with Pastor Joseph Stone officiating.
Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 1-5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012 at West Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with family hour lasting from 5-6 p.m.
West Memorial Funeral Home of Starkville is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Annie B. Williams was born March 15, 1924 in Oktibbeha County to the late Clem Miller II and Delsie Peterson Miller. She was the fourth child of six children.
She grew up in the Bethel Community and was a member of Second Baptist Church where she served as a member of the usher board, the Dr. Watt's Choir, and the Women's Missionary Society.
She is survived by two siblings, Amelia Miller Boyd and Clem Miller II of St. Louis, Mo.
She was married to the late T.L. Williams and there were five children born to this union, Elsie M. Williams Coffer, Lawrence Williams (Mary) and Jurrell Williams, all of Starkville; and L.T. Williams (Carolyn) of Conway, Ark.
One son, Maurice Williams preceded her in death.Â
She also leaves her grandchildren:Â Vanessa Coffer (Derrick Hooks) of Fayetteville, Ga., Lori Taylor (Edward) of Glen Ellyn, Ill., Letonya Williams of Fairburn, Ga., and Chance Williams and Jeremy Williams both of Starkville; and five step-grandsons, Demond, Mario, King II, Andre and Devin Hall also of Starkville.
