Mr. Virgil C. Cordero, III (V.C.), 94, died Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2012 at Vicker's Personal Care Home in Starkville. 

A memorial service will be held in Alabama at a later date.
Welch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He was a retired Master Sgt. in the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by daughters, Cathy Pittman (Chuck) of Starkville and Maria Bisset (John) of Casselberry, Fla.; son, Virgil C. Cordero, IV (Pam) of Winter Springs, Fla.; and six grandchildren.
