Dallas welcomes MSU fans for Final Four

With the Final Four tournament coming up, Dallas is making plans for activities visitors can attend in their free time.

A list compiled by VisitDallas gives information on where to stay and what to do while in town for the NCAA Final Four Tournament.

Fairmont Dallas is a hotel located in the Arts District, within walking distance of both the American Airlines Center and Victory Park. Hilton Anatole has a spa, health club, and a resort
pool. W Dallas is in the heart of the city, within walking distance of the American Airlines Center.

The official festival of the 2017 Women’s Final Four is named Tourney Town. The festival will have a variety of events, one of which is NCAA Bounce. This event is for children 18
years and younger. Participants dribble down into Tourney Town.

The first 2,000 to register will receive a free basketball and T-shirt. Tourney Town offers an array of basketball-themed activities.

Klyde Warren Park is open for visitors. It hosts activities from Tai Chi to art classes.

White Rock Lake is a 1,015-acre city lake is also a hotspot for picnickers and bike-riders.

On Saturday, April 1, there will be a Jennifer Nettles concert to headline the 2017 NCAA Final Four. Ticket-holders for the

Final Four may also purchase a ticket to the concert. There is also the Sixth Floor Museum, which has information on the life and assassination of President John F. Kennedy. The paintings by George W. Bush will be on display in his “Portraits of Courage” collection at the George W. Bush Presidential Center.

Other attractions outside of the NCAA are the Dallas Zoo, the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, and the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden.
