Jones enjoys visit to MSU

Mississippi State has been trying to get Starkville defensive lineman Kobe Jones in the boat for over a year. This past weekend, they got a chance to try and get closer to that feat.
The 247Sports four-star indicated that he had a good time up the road from his home, but he is no closer to a decision. He enjoyed himself nonetheless.
“It was a good experience kicking it with a few top prospects in the state and (MSU senior defensive end) A.J. Jefferson was leading the way,” Jones said. “We were all just living in the moment having fun and not involved in the recruiting process. We clicked up with Nelson Adams, Raekwon Davis, Jeffery (Simmons) and Brandon Bryant all weekend so it was fun.”
