Over 250 MSU alumni and friends are expected to take part in the 19th Annual Oktibbeha County MSU Alumni Association’s Bulldog Blast scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 29.
“Bulldog Blast is our biggest fundraiser of the year, which helps fund scholarships for deserving high school seniors in Oktibbeha County attending Mississippi State,” said Alumni Chapter President Donna Rupp. “Just within the last five years, we have awarded over $60,000 in scholarships.”
Activities for Bulldog Blast include a four-Person Golf Scramble and a Southern buffet dinner and raffle. The golf tournament begins at 11:30 a.m. at Starkville Country Club. Spots are still available and teams can register by contacting Jason Ryder at 312-6800 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Following the golf tournament on Saturday, a delicious southern buffet dinner will be held beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Starkville Country Club. Dinner will feature fresh catfish, shrimp, chicken, several sides and dessert. Tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for children under 10 and will be available at the door.
“Following dinner, we will hold a raffle for an array of items such as MSU memorabilia, home accents, gift certificates, autographed items, children’s toys, tailgating supplies, and much more,” said Rupp. “This event is sure to please every bulldog in your family.”
