Kathryn Rose Pendagraph Stich, 66, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012 at her home in Starkville.

Graveside funeral services will be held at a later date in Atlanta, Ga.
Welch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was a retired teacher with Starkville Public Schools.  Teaching and mentoring was her life along with knitting and science fiction.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathryn Mary Stich of Cleveland, Ohio and Bethany Marie Stich (Mark Duncan) of Chambersburg, Pa.; sisters, Teresa Pendagraph of Cleveland, Ohio and Shirley Sadler of Cleveland, Ohio. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Lawrence Pendagraph and Kathryn Elizabeth Arsenovich Pendagraph; and son, Gregory James Stich.
