God called one of his angels home on Friday, July 27, 2012.
Ms. Addie Mae Young was born April 27, 1937, to the late Annie Lou Elliott and Lawyer Nash.
She leaves to cherish her memories a son, Ecker B. Young and a daughter, Rosie Lee Smith; one living sister, Earner Williams; five grandsons; three granddaughters; seven great-grandkids; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom she loved dearly.
Five sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at Sand Creek Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012 at 11 a.m. Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 3, 2012 at 12:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. at Century Hairston Funeral Home located in Starkville.
