Rona Coleman

Ms. Rona Elizabeth Stallings Coleman, 94, died Friday, July 20, 2012 at Vickers Personal Care Home in Starkville.

She was a retired homemaker and was reared in Maben. Her hobbies included cooking, quilting and serving the church.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, July 23, 2012 at Friendship Baptist Church of Sturgis. Rev. Halton Davis Jr. and Tim Buchanan will officiate.

Visitation is scheduled for 5-7 p.m. Sunday, July 22 at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville.

Burial will follow in Memorial Garden Park in Starkville.

Survivors include sons, Johnny Coleman and wife Denise of Sturgis, and Tommy Coleman and wife Barbara of Sturgis; daughter, Glenda Patterson of Costa Rica; grandchildren, Scott Coleman, Britney Tucker, J.T. Coleman and Kelli Peacock: and great granddaughter, Carson Peacock.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Coleman, and parents, Jack Stallings and Dora Turner.

Memorials may be made to the Friendship Baptist Church Building Fund, 5191 Craig Springs, Sturgis, MS 39769.
