WEST POINTâ€” Mrs. Clarice Ellis Farrish, 74, died Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Dugan Memorial Home in West Point.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, May 25 at First Baptist Church in West Point with Rev. Dale Funderburg officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in West Point.
Visitation will be held from 2-3 p.m. Friday, May 25 at First Baptist Church in West Point.
Calvert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Clarice Emilie Farrish was born Dec. 23, 1937 in West Point to the late Louise Johann Ellis and Raymond Fuller Ellis.
She worked at the Mississippi Industry for the Blind for several years.
Mrs. Farrish was a member of First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Joy Seitz WMU Group.
She was a graduate of Blue Mountain College.
Clarice was a proud mother and grandmother.
Clarice Ellis Farrish married Willie Elton Farrish on June 27, 1964.
Survivors include her son, Ray Farrish (Shawna) of Stockton, Calif.; grandchildren; Jilliyn and Jack; three brothers, Robert Ellis (Laura) of Castleberry, Ala., Edwin Ellis (Diane) of Starkville, Henry Ellis (Patricia) of Fayetteville, N.C.; and sister-in-law, Virginia Ellis of West Point.
She was preceded in death by her husband Willie Elton Farrish, and brother John Ellis.
Pallbearers will be Mark Cliett, Bobby Magers, Homer Dyer, Glen Brown, Pete O'Shea, and Dave Glasgow.
Honorary Pallbearers will be her resident friends at Dugan Memorial Home, members of the Ruth Sunday School Class and, her church family at First Baptist Church.Â Â Â Â
