Women open fall MSU tennis season
The Mississippi State womenâ€™s tennis squad is set to open their fall season as they travel to Auburn, Ala. for the SEC Fall Coachesâ€™ Classic beginning this morning.

Head Coach Daryl Greenan has announced that all seven Lady Bulldogs will be participating in this weekendâ€™s action. The tournament, which guarantees three matches for each player, will use the following schedule: two doubles matches and one singles match today, one doubles match and one singles match on Saturday, and just one singles match on Sunday before the Lady Bulldogs return home. With 82 SEC players participating this weekend, the draws are designed as followed: 10 draws of 8 singles players and 5 draws of 8 doubles teams.
State is ready for action as they have waited almost five months since their last match and have a new look as the Lady Bulldogâ€™s have added new assistant coach, Courtney Steinbock to the team. Also, with five returning lettermen and two newcomers, the Lady Bulldogâ€™s seek to build momentum this fall. They are guided by Greenan in his second year with the program.
