WEDDING Chaves-Read

Andrea DaCosta Chaves and Jason Kirk Read were united in marriage on June 12, 2010, at First United Methodist Church Chapel in Starkville.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Manoel Chaves of Joao Pessoa, PB, Brazil. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Manoel Rosendo Chaves and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edgar DaCosta.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffry Hays Read of Starkville. He is the grandson of the late Mr. Chase Read and Katheryn MacNeill of Starkville and the late Mr. J. K. Morgan, Jr. and Mrs. J. K. Morgan, Jr. of Jackson.
Rev. Bob Rambo officiated the ceremony with music provided by Andy Smith.
Andrea was escorted by her father-in-law, Jeff Read, and she wore a Nicole Miller gown.
She carried a bouquet of pink roses with pale pink gerbera daisies with seeded euke.
Mrs. Jeff Read served as matron of honor.
Following the ceremony, a reception at The Veranda was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Scotty Crawford, Mr. and Mrs. Eric Feng, Mr. and Mrs. Grady Mitchener, Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Prentice, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Rackley, Dr. and Mrs. Adnan Shindala, Dr. and Mrs. Ben Sanford and Mr. and Mrs. Barry Zook..
On the eve of the wedding, the couple was honored with a rehearsal dinner given by Dr. and Mrs. Richard Benton.
A bridal tea was hosted the day of the wedding by Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Fowler, Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Hooks, Dr. and Mrs. George Lyon, Dr. and Mrs. Rodney Waldrop, and Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Walters.
Following their honeymoon to Puerto Rica, the couple resides in Minneapolis, Minn. where the groom is in Endodontics Residency at the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry.
