Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Roberson, Sr., of Starkville, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on November 6, with a small gathering of family and friends.
They were married November 6, 1949, at the bride’s home in Starkville with Rev. J.D. Gaston officiating.
Mrs. Roberson is the former Alberta Johnson of Brooksville.
Mr. Roberson, a Starkville native, is a retired Mississippi State University employee.
The Robersons are members of 16th Section M.B. Church of Starkville.
They have seven children, Fannie Farrow of Philadelphia, Pa.; Lewis Roberson, Jr., of Columbus; Patricia Wynn, Barbara lane and Janice Ratliff, all of Starkville; Julie Thompson of Township, Mich.; and Carolyn Roberson of Louisville, Ky.
They have nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
