Wall and other Humane Society leaders held an open house at the shelter this past Saturday, and saw multiple animals adopted. Humane Society leaders encourage anyone considering giving a pet for Christmas to visit the shelter and consider adopting one of the dogs or cats there. The shelter is located at Industrial Park Road just south of Miley Drive and is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Wednesday. The shelter will be closed Thursday and Friday for Christmas.
