SDN Staff Reports The fall term of Oktibbeha County Circuit Court wrapped up Friday with numerous sentencings and arraignments. Both judges Lee Howard and Jim Kitchens were on the bench during the two and a half week term. In Circuit Court action the last two weeks, the following defendants pleaded guilty to various charges in Circuit Court and are listed by name, charges, sentence, fines and restitution (any similarities in name to other individuals in the community is purely coincidental):
• Brashi Neal, burglary and larceny of a dwelling, 5 years of non-adjudicated probation (two include completion of the Regimented Inmate Discipline program), $250 fine. • Marvell Tabb, aggravated assault, 5 years of probation on a 10-year suspended sentence, $250 fine. • Jimmie Wordlaw, felony DUI, 5 years in prison, $3,000 fine. • Justin Johnson, sale of hydrocodone, sale of cocaine, 20 years in prison, $10,000 fine. • Leroy Johnson, possession of less than .1 gram of cocaine, 1 year in the Intensive Supervision/House Arrest Program followed by 3 years of probation, $250 fine and $250 in restitution. • Brandi Byrd, embezzlement, 5 years of non-adjudicated probation, $1,000 fine, $2,850 in restitution. • Kason Jackson, shoplifting, sentencing set for Jan. 26. • Mosie Childs, attempted aggravated assault, 5 years in prison, $200 fine. • Anthony Evans, burglary of an automobile, $200 fine, $232 in restitution. • Carlos Oden, malicious mischief, 5 years of probation, $200 fine, $14,851.79 in restitution. • Julius Moore, statutory rape, 15 years in prison, $2,000 fine, $333.95 in restitution to the District Attorney’s Office Bad Check Unit. • Peter Motley, possession of less than .1 gram of cocaine, 1 year in prison, $200 fine, $250 in restitution to the Starkville Police Department. • Michael Range, possession of MDMA (ecstasy) with intent to distribute, 16 years in prison, $5,000 fine. • Henry L. Graham, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, 5 years in prison, $200 fine. • Ryan McGee, grand larceny, 5 years of probation, $250 fine, $250 in restitution to the Victim’s Compensation Fund. • Kino Atkinson, sale of cocaine, 16 -years in prison, $5,000 fine. • Christina Larry, possession of more than .1 gram but less than 2 grams of cocaine, 5 years in prison, $200 fine. • Daphine Hodges, uttering a forgery, 5 years of probation, $200 fine, $80 in restitution. • James Howard Wardlaw, two counts of burglary, 10 years in prison, $200 fine, $150 in restitution. • Ricardo Deloach, possession of stolen property greater than $500, 5 years of probation. • Freddie Parker, contributing to the neglect of a child, sentencing set for Jan. 26. • Rodney Hampton, burglary of a dwelling, 15 years in prison (recommended for RID program), $250 fine, $516 in restitution. • Frank Rogers III, burglary of a dwelling, 3 years in prison, $250 fine, $30 in restitution. • Crystal Black, burglary of a dwelling, 5 years of probation on a 20-year suspended sentence, $250 fine, $80 in restitution. • Clell Gladney, possession of less than .1 gram of cocaine, tampering with a witness, four years in prison, $200 fine, $250 in restitution to the Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Deaprtment. • Rodnicole Lucious, two counts of simple assault on a law enforcement officer, 5 years in prison. • Dennis Henry, burglary of a dwelling, 25 years in prison, $1,450 in restitution. • Eric McCarter, possession of between 2 and 10 grams of cocaine, 5 years in prison, $250 fine, $250 in restitution to the SPD. • Steven Bishop, burglary of a dwelling, 3 years in prison, $250 fine. • Harold T. Bardley, sale of cocaine, sale of hydrocodone, 17 years in prison, $5,000 fine. • Delvin Young, felony computer fraud, 1 year in prison, $200 fine, $1,333.33 in restitution. • Frankie S. McDonald, attempted robbery, 2 years in prison, $500 fine. • Monica Brown, sale of cocaine, 10 years in prison, $1,000 fine. • Abdullah Qasen “Mike” Alsahqani, sale of more than 250 dosage units of pseudophedrine, 5 years of non-adjudicated probation, $5,000 fine. • Fahman Sared “Sammy” Saleh, sale of more than 250 dosage units of pseudophedrine, 5 years of non-adjudicated probation, $5,000 fine. • Jared Manning Lisenby, felony posting of an injurious message through electronic media, 5 years in prison, $1,000 fine. • Calvin L. Stewart, posession of between 1 and 5 kilograms of marijuana, 14 years in prison, $3,500 fine. • Brett Robinson, sale of more than 30 grams but less than 250 grams of marijuana, sentencing set for Jan. 26. • Thomas Lee Martin, burglary of a dwelling, 5 years of probation, $250 fine, a pro rata share $2,613.32 in restitution. • Kevin Tyrone Clark, possession of more than .1 gram but less than 2 grams of cocaine, 5 years of probation, $750 fine. • Tyler D. Carpenter, burglary of a dwelling, 5 years of probation, a pro rata share $2,613.32 in restitution. • Jim Cannon Sr., aggravated assault, 5 years in prison, $250 fine, restitution to be determined. • Vickie Harris Perkins, identity theft, 1 year in prison, $2,055.79 in restitution. Linston, non-support of a child, Feb. 2, $5,000 bond. • Darius Madison, false pretense, Feb. 4, $10,000 bond. • Linda Call, possession of cocaine, Feb. 5, $5,000 bond. • Travell McEwing, aggravated assault, Feb. 2, no bond pending a court hearing. • Reggie Jones, kidnapping/armed robbery, no bond, Feb. 2. The winter term of Circuit Court is scheduled to open in late January. Prior to the winter term beginning, the Oktibbeha County Grand Jury will convene for one week to consider cases for possible indictment.
