Two suspects are still at large in the drive by shooting incidents on Oct. 14, with another suspect in custody.

Police arrested Derek Javonte Hardnett, 21, of Starkville, after he turned himself in Oct. 21 on charges for possession of a stolen firearm and drive by shooting. His bond was set at $350,000, according to a Starkville Police Department news release.

The drive by shooting incidents at 1040 N. Montgomery Street and 109 Tabor Street did not result in any casualties but a Maroon Alert was issued after police pursued suspects to apartments near Mississippi State University.

SPD is still searching for Christopher Lockhart, 22, of Starkville. Lockhart is wanted for possession of a stolen firearm and two counts of drive by shooting, authorities said.

Police are also looking for Corey Quinn, 26, of Woodland, on charges of possession of a stolen firearm and drive by shooting. Authorities said Quinn was involved in the shooting at 109 Tabor Street.

Authorities said the two suspects still at-large should be considered armed and dangerous. Police have instructed anyone who has information on the suspects to call 911, contact SPD at 662-323-4131, or call Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at 1-800-530-7151.
