Think Pink

November 8, 2010

Girl Scouts Heart of the South Troop 20349 recently held their regular troop meeting on October 18, 2010. As part of their “Leader for the Day” service project initiative, Leaders Charnequa Cook and Malaysha Rice chose as a service project to focus on the importance of Breast Cancer Awareness. The girls were given information brochures, breast cancer pins, and key chains to distribute in the community. Also, they were encouraged to give their key chain to someone. The key chains and pins were donated by Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority on the campus of Mississippi State University. The troop is under the leadership of LaToya Bledsoe.
