A 76-year-old man disappeared from the Vancleave area on Wednesday morning, and state authorities ask all Mississippians to be on the lookout for him.
Warren Morris Cox was last seen about 7 a.m. Wednesday in Jackson County, about 240 miles south of Starkville, according to Warren Strain, public affairs director for the Mississippi Department of Public Safety.
A Silver Alert went out for Cox on Friday night. He is a white man, 6 feet tall, 190 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Cox suffers from a medical condition that could impair his judgment, family members told authorities.
Anyone with information on Cox's whereabouts is asked to call the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office at 228-769-3063.
