A Silver Alert issued for a Jackson man has been cancelled about 18 hours after it was issued.
Leslie Montray Hansford, 24, has been found and "appears to be okay," according to Warren Strain, public affairs director for the Mississippi Department of Public Safety.
Hansford had last been seen about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of Macon Street in Jackson, according to a the original alert.
Silver Alerts are usually issued for missing senior citizens, but can go out for any adult who may be confused or disabled. Hansford's relatives say he has a medical condition which may impair his judgment.
