A three-vehicle crash on Highway 25 at the south end of Oktibbeha County sent several people to OCH Regional Medical Center, according to Kirk Rosenhan, county fire services coordinator.
The Sturgis and Central fire departments responded to the collision at 7:46 p.m., and found the scene just north of the Winston County line.
One northbound vehicle hit another, sending one off the right side of the road where it hit a power pole and rolled over, Rosenhan said via email.
The second northbound car crossed the median and hit a southbound car, he said. Rescuers used the “Jaws of Life” to get two people out, and all vehicle occupants were taken to the hospital.
The Oktibbeha County Sheriff's Office and 4-County Electric also responded, and the Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the crash, Rosenhan said. (Submitted photo)
