Rebels host Bulldogs on Wednesday

It was about a month and a half ago when Mississippi State began to turn its season around.
Facing Ole Miss at home, the Bulldogs pulled off an 83-77 win that has propelled MSU on a 6-5 stretch that has included victories over several potential NCAA Tournament teams.
Wednesday night at 6 p.m. at The Pavilion in Oxford, MSU again battles its instate rival, this time looking to extend its run of good fortune. It’s a different Rebel team than the Bulldogs saw in Starkville however. MSU topped an Ole Miss team that was missing three starters at Humphrey Coliseum. Now, those guys are healthy and ready to make amends.
“(Ole Miss is) at full strength now,” Mississippi State head coach Ben Howland said. “We’re going to be in for the test of our lives against Ole Miss on the road.”
