Nellie Jean Cothran Trice

The funeral for Nellie Jean Cothran Trice is scheduled for Thursday at 11 a.m. at Bevill Hill Methodist Church in Winston County with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Nap Clark will conduct the service.
Visitation is scheduled for today from 5 to 7 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home. 
Trice, 72, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2010 at her home in Starkville. She was a supervisor for J.C. Penney Department Store and a member of Grace Community Church. She was a great mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Wesley Cothran and Sallie Lou Powell Cothran; and husband, Nero Trice.
She is survived by a daughter, Debbie Trice Odom of Birmingham, Ala.; sons, Bobby and Jennifer Trice of Concord, North Carolina and David and Kathie Trice of Hamilton; brother, Earnest Cothran of West Point; grandchildren, Charlie Gregg, Krissy Trice, Kellie Trice, Robert Trice, Brittany Odom and Corey Trice; and one great grandchild, Jordan Trice.
