MSU's Blair Schaefer looks to improve

Blair Schaefer understands the importance of not turning the basketball over.
That will be the only way she will get increased minutes from her coach and father Vic Schaefer at Mississippi State.
The former Starkville High School guard knows getting better on the court will be the only way Schaefer, the coach, will allow her to see the court.
“He gets a lot of stuff for not playing his daughter, but he needs to play his players so I want to give him a reason to play me,” Blair said. “I’ve worked a lot of my game and my shots have gotten better and my percentages have gotten higher which is really good. That’s where it needs to be and my ball-handling has gotten better. I just have to keep working on judgement for my passes.”
