Mississippi State University recently published a reminder for fans and visitors about guidelines of the Junction and Davis Wade Stadium for the upcoming Egg Bowl.

The Bulldogs’ 90th Battle for the Golden Egg against the University of Mississippi is Thursday, Nov. 23, but the Junction will open at 1 p.m. on Wednesday.

Fans and visitors are asked to follow recycling and waste disposal guidelines while on the campus. Garbage should be sealed in black bags and blue bags are for recyclables. Pets are prohibited except for service animals. If a pet is brought to campus, owners are responsible for cleaning up after them and monitoring them.

Campus roads surrounding Davis Wade Stadium will close four hours before kickoff Thursday. However, MSU’s S.M.A.R.T. route shuttle service provides free transportation, which will begin at 3:30 p.m. This is also when the ticket box will open.

Early arrival is suggested as the Dawg Walk and drumline performance will begin at 4:30 p.m. in the Junction, with The Famous Maroon Band marching into the stadium at 5:30 p.m.

During the game fans are asked to ring their bells responsibly, as fines are enforced for improper use of the cowbells.
