Closures for the Thanksgiving holiday

As families open their doors for relatives and friends, Starkville and Oktibbeha County will see a closure of services for the Thanksgiving holidays. City offices will be closed both today and Friday, Nov. 24 to observe the Thanksgiving holiday. All city offices will open for normal hours on Monday, Nov. 27.

Trash pick up for the city will not run on both Thanksgiving and Friday, Nov. 24. Trash pick up will resume its normal routine on Monday, Nov. 27.

Oktibbeha County offices will be closed both today and Friday, Nov. 24. All offices for the county will begin their normal hours of operation on Monday, Nov. 27.

THANKSGIVING GROCERY STORE HOURS

•Walmart Supercenter is open 24 hours. The Black Friday Sale will not begin until 6 p.m. on Thursday.

•Vowell’s Marketplace will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

•Kroger will be open from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

•Fred’s Pharmacy will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The pharmacy at Fred’s Pharmacy will be closed for Thanksgiving.

•All Dollar General locations will observe its normal hours of 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
