Josie Johnson

The funeral for Josie Johnson will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, 2009, at Sixteenth Section Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Sixteenth Section Cemetery.
The Rev. William A. Richardson will officiate.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday at West Memorial Funeral Home, which is handling the arrangements.
Mrs. Johnson died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle in Columbus. She was 72. An Oktibbeha County native, she was a homemaker and a Baptist.

Jeff Alonzo Peay

Jeff Alonzo Peay, 91, of Maben passed away Friday, Nov. 6, 2009 at the Oktibbeha County Hospital after an extended illness.
He was born in Cedar Bluff on Jan.3, 1918, to Maggie Louise Gaston Oakley Peay and Creyton Bell Peay. He was married for 49 years to Minnie V. Archibald Peay and after her death he married and is survived by Emma Dean Catledge Peay of Louisville.
He attended West Union Presbyterian Church in Louisville. He was a member of Center Grove Baptist Church where he was an ordained deacon and Sunday school teacher.

Freddie A. Reives

The funeral for Freddie A. Reives will be held at 11 a.m. today at Rock Hill United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Rock Hill Cemetery.
The Rev. Gerome Wilson will officiate.
Mr. Reives died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, at his home. He was 73. An Oktibbeha County native, he was a laborer.
West Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
