Back to School Expo

Date
Monday, July 26, 2010 - 4:15pm - Saturday, July 31, 2010 - 4:15pm

The Oktibbeha County School District is planning a Back to School Expo on Saturday, July 31, at the Sportsplex Building in Starkville, and we are asking interested organizations, businesses, elected and appointed officials to help us in this important event by lending us your expertise, whether you donate supplies, distribute information, set up a booth, volunteer for concessions, or whatever your area of knowledge might be.
Our plans include allowing parents to register students for school on-site, allowing students to pick up their schedules, allowing parents to meet with their child’s teacher, receiving information on school uniforms, receiving health awareness and screenings, free food, fun, free school supplies, and the list goes on.
You may contact Dr. Gale Cook, assistant superintendent of federal programs and operations, Julius Clark, public information officer/parent coordinator, or the superintendent of education at 323-1472.
