An armed robbery was reported on the Mississippi State University campus following Saturday's football game, according to MSU's emergency notification system.
The robbery reportedly occurred behind the MSU amphitheater and the suspects fled in the direction of the Newell Grissom building on campus. MSU sent an emergency message regarding the robbery at 6:44 p.m. Saturday.
Messages sent out via MSU's Maroon Alert system say four black males were last seen running in the direction of Newell Grissom. One of those males is wearing a white shirt and blue jeans. His hair is shaved on the sides and has dreadlocks in the middle, the alert said.
MSU Chief Communications Officer Sid Salter said no injuries have been reported related to the incident, to his knowledge.
Anyone with information relating to the incident is asked to contact the MSU Police Department or the Oktibbeha County Sheriff's Department.
