Freckles’ is a wonderful one year old pointer mix who is looking for her forever family.
Freckles was rescued from an animal hoarder in Gulfport.
We took Freckles and nine other dogs into our shelter so they did not have to be euthanized.
Sadly Freckles is the only one that has not found a sweet loving family to spend the rest of her life with!
Freckles has been well trained and will sit for a treat.  She is very loving and social; she loves to play and run around our yard with her kennel mates.
Freckles is current on her shots and wormer, she is heartworm negative, has her rabies vaccination and she is spay!!
Come by and visit Freckles today and possibly add a warm loving and playful dog to your family.
The shelter is asking for donations for our Second Chance fund, formerly known as the heartworm treatment fund.
Anyone wanting to make a difference in the life of a lost or abandoned dog or cat at our humane society please consider donating to our Second Chance fund.
The dogs and cats¬†who are treated with money from this fund¬†are screened and are very adoptable animals.¬† Donations to this fund will give these animals a ‚Äúsecond chance‚ÄĚ to find their forever family.¬†¬†Please send your donations to:¬† OCHS Second Chance Fund, P. O. Box 297, Starkville, Mississippi¬† 39760.¬†
The Starkville Animal Shelter is located at 510 Industrial Park Road in Starkville.  We are open weekdays from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.  For spay/neutered animals, the adoption fee is $40.
