Hebron Christian pulls away to win against SCS boys

The Starkville Christian School Cougars kept the game close for a half against the visiting Hebron Christian Eagles Monday night.
Hebron coach Bruce Frank was actually glad to see the competitive action early.
That gave him an opportunity to work with his Eagles with the game on the line.
After leading 25-17 at halftime, Hebron pulled away in the second half and won a 67-46 decision.

Confident Bulldogs: 'We Believe' attitude at MSU replaced by knowing it can

Mississippi State's mantra was "We Believe" heading to Alabama at 7-0 in 2012.
It didn't work out too well for the Bulldogs, as they dropped a 38-7 decision to the Crimson Tide and lost four of their last five games to end the season.

The Mississippi State women who patrol the post this season had better get ready to receive the basketball.
Whether they like it or not, the passes are coming.
During Sunday's 114-58 exhibition victory over the Arkansas-Fort Smith Lady Lions at Humphrey Coliseum, the Bulldogs inside were getting some open looks because of the assists coming from the guards.

From being the top-ranked team in the country for the first time in school history, to winning three-straight contests against top 10 teams, the Bulldogs have had an outstanding season.

It was another history-making day for the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
MSU became 9-0 for the first time in school history on Saturday with a 45-16 victory over the UT Martin Skyhawks at Davis Wade Stadium.
After establishing an 8-0 mark for the first time since 1999, the Bulldogs stretched that to their ninth-straight win to open the season.

THE OFFENSE: Prescott breaks records during MSU's 47-16 win

It has been a big season for Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott and the season is only nine games old.
The junior set several school records as the top-ranked Bulldogs crushed UT Martin 45-16 Saturday afternoon at Davis Wade Stadium in a Homecoming matchup.

Dylan Favre had a hard time doing what he wanted to do from the quarterback position for UT Martin Saturday afternoon.
When players such as Mississippi State's Ryan Brown, Preston Smith and Matt Wells are in his face, it can be difficult to execute.
It wasn't a perfect effort out of the Bulldogs on defense, but they did enough to hold down the Skyhawks and earn a 45-16 Homecoming win.
