Stropp, White part of MSU's success

Malte Stropp and Zach White have seen quite a bit of success during their four years as men's tennis players at Mississippi State.
The list of accomplishments for the Bulldogs during their time in Starkville include a pair of Southeastern Conference Western Division championships, an appearance in the NCAA Sweet 16 and the first victory over Ole Miss in 26 years.

MSU softball loses decision to Alabama 5-0

The Alabama Crimson Tide were able to get a season-opening victory over the Mississippi State Bulldogs Friday night, but it wasn't easy for the nation's second-ranked team.
Alabama built a 5-0 lead through five innings and was able to thwart a late scoring surge by the home team to defeat the Bulldogs 5-1 at the MSU Softball Stadium.

SHS loses 1-0 extra-inning decision to Madison Central

Those in attendance at Friday's Starkville-Madison Central high school baseball game were treated to what Yellowjackets coach Travis Garner called a “great high school baseball game.”
There may have only been one run scored, but the strong defense and pitching performances kept fans enthused until the very end as the Jaguars claimed a 1-0 victory.

Mississippi State senior outfielder Jessica Offutt has taken the advice of the softball coaching staff and it is beginning to pay off.
In the last two games for the Bulldogs, Offutt has gone 5-of-7 at the plate for a batting average of .714. She has six hits in the last 10 at-bats over a three-game stretch to bat .600.

Williamson shows leadership for SCS
