It will be a long three months for Mississippi State football coach Dan Mullen.
That's the length of time he won't be with the Bulldogs.
College football coaches aren't allowed to have contact with the players as they go through summer conditioning and sometimes that seems to last forever.

Third largest softball crowd at MSU sees close loss to Tennessee

The third largest crowd in Mississippi State home softball history of 1,362 fans saw a close and competitive game on Saturday afternoon.
The Bulldogs faced off for game two of their Super Bulldog Weekend series against No. 12 Tennessee.
While the game was certainly toughly fought, it was the Volunteers who saw a 5-3 victory.

Baseball bounces don't go way of Bulldogs

The bounces are not going the way of the Mississippi State Bulldogs in baseball right now.
In a close game, the bad bounces become magnified.
That was the situation Saturday afternoon for the Bulldogs against the Florida Gators.

Even with that, the Jackets have never given up and on Friday, the hard work paid off as they reached the .500 mark, following a 13-3 win over Class 6A, Region 3 opponent Columbus.

There will be many activities and events taking place around the Mississippi State campus this weekend.
Super Bulldog Weekend – the spring homecoming – starts today and the Bulldog baseball team welcomes No. 12 Florida for a three-game Southeastern Conference series right in the middle of it.
Huge crowds are expected to file into Dudy Noble Field.
