On Monday night, East Webster was grateful for not only its starters, but also for those coming off the bench as the Wolverines pulled out a close 66-60 win over visiting Hebron Christian.

Diaz looks forward to evaluating Bulldogs

New Mississippi State defensive coordinator Manny Diaz doesn't want to base any decision on personnel just by watching film.
As students return to campus for the second semester this week, Diaz will meet and greet some of the Bulldogs he will be evaluating during the offseason.

Following that, the West Oktibbeha coach said the sky is the limit.
"We want to win the division and make a run for the tourney – boys and girls," Crawford said. "We have a great chance. The teams have bought in and we are ready."

James progressed positively for MSU during the season

Nick James has come a long way during his three years at Mississippi State.
The redshirt sophomore came to Starkville as a highly sought after recruit out of Long Beach High School. But things haven't been easy for the defensive lineman.
He played sparingly as a true freshman and was redshirted his sophomore season. This season was a different story.
