The Jackets defeated the New Hope Trojans 6-1 Saturday afternoon at home with three of those goals coming in the second half.

For the second-straight game, the Lady Vols walked off the floor with a victory after defeating the Magnolia Heights School Lady Chiefs 34-19 on Saturday.
Bruce Allsup is not one to shy away from tough competition.
The Starkville Academy coach does not have to look far to find those games because on top of the out of conference slate, each and every team within the Volunteers district presents a challenge.
"Nobody has played a tougher schedule than we have," Allsup said. "That is good because we know what it is going to take."
Starkville High School girls basketball player Alize' Thompson didn't let a negative play lead to another.
In fact, she put two positive plays back-to-back after making a turnover against Northwest Rankin Friday night at the Beehive.
It didn't take long to figure out who was going to win Friday night.
The Starkville Yellowjackets made sure of that early.
The Jackets started the game on an 11-0 run and never looked back as they beat Northwest Rankin 71-31 in a rout at the Beehive.
