Luke Buckner has a specific goal in mind for his first season as coach of the Starkville Christian Lady Cougars.
For a program that has found wins hard to come by over the last couple of seasons, Buckner believes there's enough talent at Starkville Christian to achieve a winning season.

CLINTON â€“ The Starkville High Yellowjackets cross country boys and girls teams secured top three finishes in the team competition at the Class 5A championships on Saturday and picked up individual victories in both races.
The Starkville Yellowjackets got their tremendous trio of seniors in the backfield going on Friday night to secure a first round playoff win in Class 5A.
With quarterback Gabe Myles, tailback Preston Baker and fullback Stanley Higgins leading the way, Starkville was able to defeat the Saltillo Tigers at home 45-7.
