Bulldogs hit 10-win mark before SEC

Mississippi State struggled to 10 wins a season ago.
This year, the Bulldogs eclipsed the double-digit mark before the start of Southeastern Conference play.
The Bulldogs knocked off the Maryland-Eastern Shore Hawks 77-63 Thursday night inside Humphrey Coliseum to push their record to 10-3.

The former Starkville High School player had gotten a double-double midway through the first half and led the Mississippi State Bulldogs to a 77-63 victory over Maryland Eastern Shore at Humphrey Coliseum. He finished with 22 points and 16 rebounds.

One day after winning the AutoZone Liberty Bowl, it’s still fresh on the minds of Mississippi State fans.
The Bulldogs beat Conference USA champion Rice 44-7 at Liberty Bowl Stadium in Memphis, Tenn. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs finished the 2013 season with a 7-6 record, their fourth-straight winning season.

State's women start SEC play against Florida

MSU rolled to an easy 44-7 victory over the Owls of Rice in the 55th AutoZone Liberty Bowl at Liberty Bowl Stadium on New Year’s Eve.
