Davis Wade expansion: Facelift at MSU's home moving forward

The 2013 college football season is just around the corner and Mississippi State Bulldog fans will have a different view of Davis Wade Stadium this fall.
MSU's venue for home games is in the midst of a $75 million expansion and renovation project that will increase the capacity from 55,082 to 61,337. 

Lee answers call, returns to Bulldogs

Former Mississippi State quarterback Tyson Lee is back on campus.
After serving as a scouting assistant for the St. Louis Rams, Lee felt the call to return to the Golden Triangle area and help the Bulldogs in some way.
Lee has been serving MSU and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes as a field associate for the past month.

MSU's Norris inks with Detroit Tigers

Daryl Norris tweeted Friday afternoon that he will sign a contract with the Detroit Tigers.
The Mississippi State junior right hander was drafted in the 22nd round by the Tigers earlier this month in Major League Baseball's First-Year Amateur draft. 
Norris took to Twitter Friday to let his decision be known and to thank the many Bulldog fans that supported him.

Coach Corner: Stidham uses summer to improve Wolverines

Summer is not typically thought of as basketball season.
For East Webster, that makes it the perfect time to get in some extra practice and to prepare for the upcoming season.
“The summer league is giving us some good experience which I enjoy because they need all the reps they can get,” Wolverines coach Corey Stidham said.

Fans gather at Dudy Noble Field to show appreciation to Bulldogs

It has been a wild ride for the Mississippi State baseball team this season.
That all came to an end on Thursday night.
The Bulldogs were greeted by fans at Dudy Noble Field to celebrate the 2013 Bulldog campaign.
MSU finished the season 51-20 and were the national runner-ups to the UCLA Bruins. 

Henderson joins Hill, Bradberry in MAC Hall

Starkville Academy girls basketball coach Glenn Schmidt knew she was playing for a special coach during her high school days at Madison-Ridgeland High School in the 1970s.
It wasn't until later that Schmidt realized just how important Jerry Henderson was in her life.

Volunteers offer their time for Outlaw's Elite 25 camp

It is often said that it takes a village to raise a child.
At the Elite 25 Travis Outlaw basketball camp held this week at the Starkville Sportsplex, that saying could not be more true as a whole host of volunteers came together to teach area children the game of basketball and life. It's an idea that Outlaw came up with about three years ago while talking with his brother John Outlaw Jr.

Cohen was hired as the 16th head coach of the Bulldogs on June 7, 2008. 

Bradberry's successful run as coach lands him in MAC Hall

David Bradberry's successful run as a high school football coach in Mississippi has taken him from Sturgis to the Mississippi Association of Coaches Hall of Fame.
The Oktibbeha County native will be inducted along with four others on Friday during the MAC Hall of Fame banquet in Jackson.
When Bradberry thinks about the accomplishment, he looks back on the people that have helped him get there.

Buckner teaches 9-year-olds how to value, love the game
