Tuesday evening was all about perfection for the Starkville Academy Volunteers.
As the team defeated visiting Pillow Academy 15-0, Hunter Bolin and Stephen Robertson combined to throw a perfect game.

Bulldogs cruise to 12-1 win over Tigers

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – It is pretty much automatic that when Ross Mitchell enters a game, he is going to win it.
It was no different Tuesday night.
The Mississippi State sophomore right hander pitched six solid innings in relief and the No. 17 (Collegiate Baseball) Bulldogs cruised to a 12-1 win over the Memphis Tigers in front of 3,428 at Autozone Park.

Starkville High starts spring work with Tuesday practice

The Starkville High School football coaching staff probably felt more like traffic cops than coaches on Tuesday afternoon.
For the first time since winning the Class 5A State championship last December, the Yellowjackets hit the field for practice.

Jackets swing to North State

April 24, 2013

The Starkville Yellowjackets had to deal with a bunch of Tigers for the second-consecutive Class 5A tennis match in the postseason.
After sweeping through Saltillo last Thursday to open the playoffs, Starkville defeated Hernando at home on Tuesday 6-1.
With the victory, the Jackets punched their ticket to the North Class 5A round against Oxford on Friday.
