Eupora starts fast, but loses at Baldwyn

BALDWYN – It looked like the Eupora Eagles were going to cruise to an easy victory Friday night.
The Eagles jumped out to an early 14-0 lead in the first quarter, and were dominant as they kept Baldwyn out of the end zone, 
That was the best 12 minutes for Eupora. 

French Camp advances with win

FRENCH CAMP – When it rains, it pours is the typical saying.
For French Camp football, it might more appropriate to say when it rains, they score.
The Panthers took to a soggy field Friday night for the second round of the Class A playoffs where they secured a 30-20 victory over Lumberton.

MSU football seeks to keep bowl hopes alive

The state of Arkansas has not been historically kind to the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
MSU is 0-9-1 all-time in the state of Arkansas. To keep a fourth-straight bowl game on the table, the Bulldogs will have to win in the Natural State.

Bielema's letter on Bell's death impacts Mullen

Dan Mullen had to deal with a very difficult situation in his second season as the head coach of the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
In 2010, one of Mullen's players Nick Bell had died after a short battle with cancer and it was a very emotional time for the Bulldogs and their coach.
There were many people who reached out to Mullen and MSU to show signs of support and comfort.

Basketball Bulldogs play on road for first time

That all changes tonight.
Coach Rick Ray has taken his Bulldogs (3-0) west to Logan, Utah, as they take on the Utah State Aggies (3-0). Tipoff is set for 8 p.m.

The defending Class 5A State champion Starkville Yellowjackets travel to meet the defending Class 6A title holder South Panola Tigers in Batesville, Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

Each round of the 2013 high school football postseason brings with it a tougher challenge for the Eupora Eagles.
Tonight's test has the Eagles facing off against the Bearcats of Baldwyn with a 10-3 overall record.
