Peeples gives Vols solid play

As a young child, Hunter Peeples admired the older guys in letterman jackets that entertained crowds each Friday night on the football field.
Flash forward a few years and as a two-year starter for Starkville Academy, Peeples is the guy little boys look up to.

Arrows have hard time hitting mark

The Clinton Arrows have had a difficult time hitting the mark in most games this season.
In the mind of head coach Judd Boswell, the Arrows have a young team that's getting better.
"In 6A football, when you have seven freshmen that start for you, it's a big adjustment," Boswell said.

Bulldogs prepare for Aggies during trying week

This has been a trying week for the Mississippi State football program.
On top of getting ready for No. 11 Texas A&M, the Bulldogs have dealt with the loss of family member.
Dak Prescott's mother, Peggy, lost her battle with cancer on Sunday morning. The funeral was on Wednesday and MSU head coach Dan Mullen was in Haughton, La., for the service.

When it comes to playing in the always strong Southeastern Conference, Schaefer knows it's easier said than done.

MSU loses 3-1 to Ole Miss in front of large crowd

There was a strong student presence and a large crowd in general for Wednesday night's Southeastern Conference volleyball match between the Mississippi State Bulldogs and their rival Ole Miss Rebels.
The second-largest crowd in Newell-Grissom Building history of 1,633 looked on as MSU dropped a 3-1 match to Ole Miss.
