The Starkville Yellowjackets remain perfect in Class 5A, Region 2, District 6 play as the defense pitched yet another shutout in the 46-0 win over Yazoo City on Friday night.
The Jackets now own a 20-quarter streak of not allowing a touchdown. The streak spans all five division contests this season and it is a streak the Yellowjackets take great pride in.Â

West Oktibbeha fought its way to a 34-8 win over rival East Oktibbeha Friday night, led by the defense.
"I was pleased with the boys effort," West Oktibbeha head coach Adam Lowrey said. "It was a lot of fun to watch it."
HAMILTON â€“ Deangelo Liggins scored two touchdowns and the East Webster Wolverines rolled to a 24-0 win over Hamilton Friday night.
Liggins found McKinley Hollenhead for a 32-yard passing score. He caught a 27-yard strike from Jack Wilson.
Liggins finished the night with 44 yards rushing. He also completed 4-of-6 passes for 60 yards.
