Clifton James Brooks, Jr. ofÂ Starkville, MS, 61, died Wednesday, September 24, 2014 in Jackson, Mississippi.
Funeral services willÂ be held 1:00 P.M., Thursday, October 2, 2014Â at Mount Peiler Missionary Baptist Church, Starkville, MS with Reverend Dr. Charlie F. Barnes, Sr., officiating.

Opal Blaylock Turnipseed, 91, passed away on September 28, 2014 at her residence in Starkville.Â She was a retired office clerk in the Chancery Clerk's office and a member of First Baptist Church in Starkville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther Blaylock and Betty Cox Blaylock; husband, Marvin Doyle Turnipseed; and son, Mike Turnipseed
Mr. Edward L. Tomlin, 91, of Starkville, MS; passed away at his residence on Friday, September 26, 2014.
Mr. Tomlin was an Army veteran of World War II, and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.Â He loved his grandchildren and was an avid gardener and a fan of Mississippi State Athletics. Ed loved hunting and fishing.Â
Annette Carlisle, 67, of Starkville, MS formerly of Carrollton, MS passed away peacefully Friday, September 26, 2014, at her home in Starkville, MS surrounded by her loving family and caregiver.
Robert Earl (Buddy) Daniels, 80, passed away on September 25, 2014 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS.Â He was a retired welder with Gulf States, member of Primitive Baptist Church in Maben, MS, and an Army Veteran.
Dr. Fenton Peters, 79 of Starkville, MS passed away September 26, 2014 in Meridan, Ms.
Services are incomplete and will be handled by Century Hairston Funeral Home of Starkville, MS.
Margaret Sanders Roach, 91, passed away on September 22, 2014 at Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital in Germantown, TN.Â She was retired owner of Ray-Mar Jewelry in Starkville, MS, member of Faith Baptist Church, and a volunteer at Oktibbeha County Hospital and the Salvation Army.
Mozelle Nelson Joblin, 97, passed on September 22, 2014 at OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville, MS. Before her retirement, she was a business woman.Â She was the wife of Eugene I. (Gene) Nelson, for 43 years, and Lathan Joblin for 17.

Barbara Ann Taylor Malone, aka "Bob" 66, of Laurel, MS, died peacefully at her home on September 23, 2014, following a lengthy illness.
She was the daughter of JC and Alice Taylor of Oxford, MS who preceded her in death.
