Mrs. Isadora Norwood, 101, formerly of Starkvillle, Mississippi, died May 11, 2015 in Suisun, California.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Peterâ€™s Rock Temple Church of God In Christ, Starkville, Mississippi with Supt. Joseph Hawkins, officiating.
Benton Armstrong Vizzier, age 96, of Fayetteville passed away, May 11, 2015 in Fayetteville. He was born December 25, 1918 in Gillett, Arkansas to James and Aveline Bergschneider Vizzier.
Funeral services for Pauline "Polly" Felder Brantley of Starkville, formerly of Kilmichael, will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 18, at Kilmichael United Methodist Church in Kilmichael, with burial following in Friendship Cemetery in Kilmichael.Â
Rev. Burt Felder and Mr. Albert Brantley will officiate the services.
James (Jim) Davis Quin was born on January 31, 1935, and passed away on May 5, 2015, at 80 years of age.Â Jim was a graduate of Tylertown High school, where he met his lifetime sweetheart, Alice Anne Bickham, whom he later married.Â He graduated from Southwest Mississippi Junior College and continued his studies at the University of Mississippi where he earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering.Â
Willie Bennett Moore, 73, passed away on April 30, 2015 at Darlington Oaks in Verona, MS.Â He was a ready mix operator with MMC Materials and a member of Chester Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver B. and Ola Moore; sister, Gertrude Schantz; and brother, Curtis Moore.
Mrs. Eva O. Jones, 85, died Monday, April 27, 2015, at her home in Louisville, MS. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, April 29th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Dewayne Kelsey officiating. Interment will be at 3:30 PM in Liberty Cemetery in Booneville, MS. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bessie M. Cannon, 83, of Â Starkville, Mississippi died April 23, 2015 in Starkville, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M., Thursday,April 30, 2015 at Peterâ€™s Rock Temple Church of God In Christ, Starkville, Mississippi with Elder Joseph Hawkins, officiating.
Gail Elizabeth Brand Morgan, 70, passed away on April 23, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS.Â She was a homemaker and member of Morgan Chapel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee H. Brand and Gwennell Porter Brand; husband, Charles Reed Morgan; grandson, Dustin Shannon; and son-in-law, Bill Roberts.
