Winifred "Winnie" Allene Forsyth Boykin, 67, passed away at her residence in Maben August 15, 2014.  She shaped the lives of many young people while she was a teacher with Oktibbeha County Schools, where she taught for 30 years.

Dr. Samuel K. Riffell, 44, passed away on August 11, 2014 in Starkville, MS.   Dr. Riffell was an Associate Professor in the College of Forest Resources at Mississippi State University. 

Patsy M. McGee

Patsy was the beloved mother, wife, and friend to many. She died at Oktibbeha County Hospital at age 76. Patsy was born in Chunky, MS, the daughter of Ellis and Christel McGee. She graduated from Hickory High School in Hickory, MS and East Central Jr. College of Decatur, MS.

Dr. Lewis Eugene Ryan passed away on August 6, 2014 at the OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville, MS. He was 94.
He was born October 17, 1919 in Cordova, TN to the late Odos Ryan and Pearl Bready Ryan.

Thomas Parker Rodenbaugh, age 22, was a native and lifelong resident of Mississippi. A 2010 graduate of Madison Central High School, Parker was competitive in soccer and a drumline member of the band. He was also a third degree black belt. After graduation Parker attended his first year of college at Ole Miss before returning home for a year at Holmes Community College.

Funeral services will  be held 1:00 P.M., Thursday, August 14, 2014, at First Baptist Church Longview, Starkville, MS with Pastor Larnzy Carpenter, Jr, officiating.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 13, 2014 from 1:00 P.M.- 6:00 P.M.  at West Memorial Funeral Home, Starkville, Mississippi.
