Betty Brammer Strange, a devoted wife and mother, died June 27, 2011, after suffering with alzheimer's disease for many years. Born in Muncie, Ind.
Jimmie Glen Quinn Morgan, of Deer Park, Texas, passed away on June 22 at her home.
Floyd Chenney, 82, passed away June 23 at his home after a brief illness. He was born in Louisville on May 4, 1929. He graduated from Maben High School in 1947 as president of his class.

OXFORD — Mrs. Bessie Long Hewlett, 83, a homemaker, died Saturday, June 25, 2011, at her residence in Oxford.

KOSCIUSKO — Jody James, 58, died Sunday, June 26, 2011, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland.
Funeral services for Elizabeth Darlene Wilmont will be held Tuesday, June 28, at 1 p.m. at West Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jessie Townsel officiating.

Mrs. Nivin Faye Jackson Rhodes, 83, of Sturgis, passed away at Starkville Manor Nuring Home on Saturday, June 25, 2011.
MANTEE — Mr. James “Dannie” Vaughn, 55, died Friday, June 24, 2011 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

Funeral services for James (Bo) Perkins Jr. will be held Saturday, June 24, at 1 p.m at Spring Hill M.B. Church, in Starkville, with the Rev. Leon Williams officiating.
Dr. James Edward Booth passed away at the University Medical Center in Jackson, on June 17, 2011, at age 86 after a triumphant and distinguished life.
