Starkville’s Board of Aldermen voted in executive session Tuesday night to place City Engineer Edward Kemp on 6 months probation.

City Clerk Lesa Hardin announced the board’s vote after the lengthy executive session, though aldermen offered no reasons for the decision.

According to an SPD press releases, 18-year-old Deangelo Dewayne Manning, who lives at 406 Hancock Circle, turned himself in to the department at 4:30 p.m.
