Many members of the Starkville community showed their desire to get involved and learn about service organizations and programs by attending Volunteer Starkville’s first Community Volunteer Fair honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Monday at the Starkville Sportsplex.

County to craft strategic plan

The Oktibbeha County Board of Supervisors will hold a county strategic planning session at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Oktibbeha County Courthouse.

The session will serve as a county-focused follow up to a November joint strategic planning session between the city of Starkville and Oktibbeha County.
