SSD to receive $1.9 million from Dept. of Education

The Starkville School District Board of Trustees will discuss possibilities for $1,9995,000 in 0 percent interest loans the district is slated to receive from the Mississippi Department of Education at the board’s meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Greensboro Center.

Local man hurt in hit-and-run

A Starkville man remains at OCH Regional Medical Center with a broken leg after an apparent hit-and-run early Monday morning on Garrard Road, according to a Starkville Police Department press release.

Commission to discuss rezone
